Frustrated by Governor Scott's budget cuts that potentially gut the Department of Community Affairs with deep cuts to the Environmental Protection Agency to include the downsizing of of Florida's semi-autonomous water management districts, Everglades restoration along with a push by lawmakers to repeal mandatory septic tank inspection, environmental advocates are meeting to counter Governor Scott's budget proposal.
